Holly is in Korea!
Hello world!
Exciting news from Holly. I'm in Bucheon, Korea, teaching several Practical English Conversation courses! Amazing to me -- a many-years long dream-come-true.
I really need to continue my Korean language (Han-gul) lessons -- it is difficult to communicate properly -- and there is so much to learn here!
I feel like a child at holiday time -- EVERYTHING seems enchanting! So far I am quite pleased -- I have a nice, LARGE apartment, my own classroom (all of my classes in the same room!!!), a mountain that is only 5 minutes walk away from my apartment door, and kind people everywhere!
For more details about my Korean experiences, please see my companion blog site www.tabulas.com/~smilin7
I am hoping to use this (blogblossoms) site with my classes here at The Catholic University of Korea, AND hoping that Dialogue Cafe students and OBF students (Of the students, By the students, For the students) -- an English Cafe here on The Catholic University of Korea campus -- AND my prior students and friends in Charlottesville, VA will post responses.
Please post a comment -- share a happy thought -- or post a question.
Thank you -- I look forward to reading your comments
bye from blogblossoms! (AKA -- Also Known As -- Ms. D, or Holly)
